This hike is nice enough, and there's some points of interest, but it's more of a walk. To make it a loop you need to walk along the highway for a stretch back to the parking lot, which isn't that bad, even with hardly any cars, but I'd prefer to be on a real trail.
There's a flat road leading in from the parking lot.
You get a partial water view for a short stretch.
After you leave the paved road things get more woodsy.
Banana slugs and huckleberries. The berries were plentiful and tasty.
The trail has some nice overgrown areas.
Going back along the highway isn't my favorite.
