Drink Recipes

1½ oz Irish whiskey
¾ oz orgeat
½ oz St George spiced pear liqueur
½ oz lemon juice
splash soda water
Shake everything except the soda water with ice, serve, and top with soda water.
Mildly sweet and refreshing, with nice apple spices from the pear liqueur. Definitely use Irish whiskey instead of Scotch or it's too woody. Don't use too much soda water or the flavors will be too diluted.

2 oz Midori
2 oz orange juice
1 oz vodka
Shake with ice.
Sweet and mellow, a good showcase for Midori

2 oz dark rum
¾ oz cinnamon syrup
½ oz dry curacao
½ oz lime juice
½ oz orange juice
dash bitters
drop vanilla extract
Shake with crushed ice and serve with tons of ice.
This is like a sweeter more spiced Mai Tai. The vanilla and cinnamon go really well together. Originally from Tod at Cocktail Club, who learned it at Tiki Oasis. He infused the bitters with vanilla bean and used Saigon cinnamon.

2 oz soda water
1½ oz gin
½ oz cherry liqueur
½ oz lemon juice
¼ oz benedictine
¼ oz demerara syrup
dash aromatic bitters
dash orange bitters
Shake and serve over ice. Top with soda water.
Refreshing and easy to drink. This is basically a fruit juice, since none of the flavors stand out too much on their own. Try a flavored or herbal gin.

1¾ oz aged rum
¾ oz overproof rum
½ oz lime juice
½ oz grapefruit juice
½ oz cinnamon syrup
½ oz falernum
few dashes absinthe
dash bitters
Shake and serve over crushed ice.
This is basically a sweeter verson of the Zombie with less booze, but still quite strong.

2 oz aged rum
1 oz overproof rum
½ oz falernum
½ oz lime juice
¼ oz grapefruit juice
¼ oz cinnamon syrup
1 teaspoon grenadine
dash absinthe (smallest possible)
dash bitters
Shake and serve over crushed ice.
Strong! Delicious! I reduced the rum by 1 oz from the source recipe so it's not as strong/dry. Using more grenadine or cinnamon (¼ oz) may be nice too.

1 oz light rum
1 oz aged rum
½ oz apricot liqueur
½ oz demerara syrup
½ oz grapefruit juice
½ oz lime juice
Shake and serve over crushed ice. Optional: add 1-2 oz soda water to make it a refreshing long drink.
Light, fruity, and showcases the apricot liqueur. It combines well with grapefruit, which surprisingly doesn't overpower the delicate apricot flavor.

1½ oz bourbon
1½ oz apricot liqueur
½ oz lemon juice
½ teaspoon simple or demerara syrup
Shake with ice and serve up. Garnish with orange slice.
A quite sweet and intense apricot martini. A variant is the Boston Cocktail: replace the bourbon with gin, and replace the syrup with grenadine.

1¾ oz whiskey
1½ oz apple cider
½ oz amaro (Aperol)
¼ oz lemon juice
1 teaspoon simple or demerara syrup
½ teaspoon allspice dram
2 dash bitters
Combine and shake with ice
A spiced up spiked apple cider that's not too sweet. Using Aperol for the amaro was mellow; Averna was too bitter.

2 oz bourbon
½ oz allspice dram
¼ oz lime
1 teaspoon simple syrup
1 dash bitters
Combine and shake with ice, strain ice and serve up.
A hint of spice from the dram, but overall mellow and on the dry side.

1½ oz bourbon
1 oz grapefruit juice
¾ oz Campari
½ oz demerara syrup
¼ oz lemon juice
Combine and shake with ice.
Refreshingly sweet but with a balance of interesting flavors. The Campari's bitterness doesn't overwhelm the other ingredients and combines well with the grapefruit.

1½ oz bourbon
1½ oz Banane Du Bresil
2 dash aromatic bitters
Stir with ice and strain to serve.
The banana flavor is subtle so you need a good 1:1 ratio for it to show up. It turns out a little sweet, so the bitters help. Maybe try with 3 dashes or a different bitters?

1½ oz black/dark rum
½ oz aged rum
½ oz Banane Du Bresil
½ oz cinnamon syrup
½ oz lemon juice
1 dash aromatic bitters
Shake and serve over crushed ice.
On the sweeter side, but a nice way to enjoy the banana liqueur. The other ingredients don't mask it. Try with black rum.

2¼ oz rum
½ oz demerara syrup
¼ oz grenadine
⅓ oz lemon juice
⅓ oz lime juice
⅛ oz absinthe
1 oz club soda
Add all ingredients to shaker except the club soda and shake with ice. Serve over ice, top with club soda, and stir.
Very refreshing and balanced despite the heavy flavors. Use a funky rum with strong molasses flavor. Recipe originally called for ¼ oz Herbsaint and ½ oz of each citrus.

2 oz bourbon
¾ oz simple syrup
½ oz lime juice
3 slices cucumber
mint
Add all ingredients to shaker: muddle and then shake with ice. Garnish with mint sprig and a cucumber slice.
Refreshing, sweet, and balanced with earthy flavors. Recipe was made with demerara syrup and it was nice.

2 oz demerara rum
½ oz demerara syrup
½ oz lime juice
4+ dash aromatic bitters
mint
optional: club soda
Add rum, demerara syrup, lime juice, and rum to tall glass and muddle. Add two dashes bitters. Fill glass with crushed ice and top with 2 more dash bitters for color.
Refreshing and interesting. Bitter and complex but with a hint of sweet lime. Optionally can include 1-2 oz of club soda before adding final bitters.

2 oz rum
⅔ oz allspice dram
½ oz lime juice
⅓ oz passion fruit syrup
⅓ oz orgeat
Shake all ingredients with ice and serve with crushed ice.
The flavors of the allspice come out in this sweet and puckery drink. The mouthfeel is slightly thicker with the relatively high orgeat. It might be worth trying the drink with slightly less passion fruit syrup to make it less acidic. This recipe was tried using a more dilute syrup, not Liber and Co.

2 oz bourbon
½ oz demerara syrup
½ oz falernum
½ oz lemon juice
1 oz pineapple juice
2 dash bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice and serve.
Intense flavor with pucker and sweetness, but not unbalanced. The shaken pineapple creates a silky foam. Very delicious!

2 oz dark rum
½ oz dry curacao
½ oz lime juice
¼ oz orgeat
¼ oz demerara syrup
Mix all ingredients with ice and shake. Serve over crushed ice and garnish with lime shell and mint sprig.
Perfect classic! Nice with pot still rum that has a deep molasses flavor.

2¼ oz rum
½ oz lime juice
½ oz demerara syrup
¼ oz Allspice Dram
2 dash aromatic bitters
Shake with ice and open pour to serve.
Mild and easy to drink. A good way to showcase the warm spices from the allspice dram.

1½ oz dark rum
½ oz Aperol
¾ oz pineapple syrup
½ oz lime juice
Shake with ice and serve on crushed ice.
Originally with Campari, switching to Aperol makes it much less bitter.

1 oz aged rum
1 oz amaro (Aperol)
½ oz orange liqueur
½ oz lime juice
¼ oz demerara syrup
Shake with ice.
When using Aperol for the amaro this tastes like a Jungle Bird variation that's not as sweet or bright.

2 oz gin
⅓ oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz passion fruit syrup
¼ oz falernum
¼ oz orgeat
1 c ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth.

1½ oz rum, dark
1 oz falernum
½ oz fresh lime juice
Shake with ice and serve.
Mild and comforting with mellow spices from the falernum.

1½ oz cognac
1 oz triple sec (or other orange liqueur)
½ oz fresh lemon juice
sugar
Rim glasses with sugar. Shake ingredients with ice and serve.
Good balance of pucker and sweetnesss.

1 part gin
1 part vermouth
1 part campari
Combine all ingredients in a glass with a lot of ice. Garnish with an amarena cherry and/or orange wedge.
Strong, bitter, and sweet!

2 oz rum
½ oz fig syrup
½ oz fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon ginger syrup
dash salt
Shake ingredients with ice, strain, and serve.
Nice with Kraken spiced rum, which lends extra sweetness.
An incredibly delicious flavor that's unique and hard to describe. The lime comes through, but it's not puckery or sour. The fig flavor is strong but not overpowering, almost like a hint of prune juice. It's a sweet drink, but there's a finish of salt and spice. Sublime!

6 oz pilsner beer
4 oz soda water
¾ oz ginger syrup
½ oz fresh lime juice
Make sure all ingredients are nice and cold to start. Combine and stir. Can be served on ice.
Instead of using ginger syrup and water, you can use a 1:1 ratio of ginger beer.
Nice and refreshing. If the pilsner is on the bitter side, use a greater ratio of soda water.

1½ oz tequila
¾ oz Aperol
½ oz orgeat
½ oz lime
Tajín or chile powder
Shake liquids with ice, strain, and serve. Sprinkle a dash of Tajín or chile powder to garnish.
Lightly sweet and fruity, with mild lime and bitter flavors.

2 oz scotch whiskey
½ oz ginger syrup
½ oz lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
Add ingredients to shaker, stir in honey to dissolve. Add ice, shake, strain, and serve.
Float a bit of whiskey on top to layer it and bring out the flavor.
You can substitute a teaspoon of jam instead of honey.
Sweet heat with spicy ginger and whiskey.

2 oz whiskey
½ oz fig syrup
½ oz sweet vermouth
2 dash bitters
Stir with ice and strain, from Liber and Co
Strong and sweet.

½ grapefruit
2 oz gin
honey to taste
Juice half a grapefruit, add to shaker with gin. Stir in honey until balanced sweet and tart. Add ice once honey is dissolved. Shake with ice, strain, and serve.
Sweet and intense.

1 oz gin
1 oz orange liqueur
1 oz Lilet Blanc / vermouth
¼ oz lemon juice
½ teaspoon absinthe
Shake with ice and serve. Go easy on the absinthe so it doesn't smother the other flavors.
Refreshing and brisk.

2 oz whiskey
4 oz apple cider
½ oz ginger syrup
½ oz lemon juice
dash bitters
Shake with ice, strain, and serve.
Sweet, delicious, and mild. Try it hot.

1 part vodka
1 part Kahlua
1 part half and half
Stir together vodka and Kahlua. Add ice. To float the cream on top, pour onto the back of a spoon. If vodka isn't mild then use less (¾ part).

2 oz gin
¾ oz coconut syrup
½ oz lime juice
Shake with ice, hard! Serve with a cherry.
Sweet and tart, with a creamy mouthfeel. Adapted from Liber and Co, with less lime. Even more delicious with Seven Caves pineapple gin.

2 oz light rum
2 oz Coco Real
2 oz pineapple juice
1½ - 2 cups crushed ice
Blend ingredients until smooth.

2 oz Meyers dark rum
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1 oz sweet & sour mix
½ oz orgeat
¼ oz grenadine
Mix all ingredients with ice and stir. Use as much ice as possible when serving.
This drink is mega sweet and mega delicious.

1½ oz light rum
1 oz pineapple juice
½ oz Coco Real
½ oz blue curacao
1½ cups crushed ice
Blend ingredients until smooth.
