Forest Park has a ton of different walking trails. We parked on a residential street (NW Saltzman Road) that led right into the park and connected with the Maple Trail. Does the trail earn its name? Absolutely it does.

We didn't walk the whole trail. There's more to it that can extend the distance, and there's many other connecting trails in the park besides.

Heading in via Saltzman Road shows you maples pretty quickly.
