Queens Park Swizzle

2 oz demerara rum
½ oz demerara syrup
½ oz lime juice
4+ dash aromatic bitters
mint
optional: club soda
Add rum, demerara syrup, lime juice, and rum to tall glass and muddle. Add two dashes bitters. Fill glass with crushed ice and top with 2 more dash bitters for color.
Refreshing and interesting. Bitter and complex but with a hint of sweet lime. Optionally can include 1-2 oz of club soda before adding final bitters.
