2 oz scotch whiskey
½ oz ginger syrup
½ oz lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
Add ingredients to shaker, stir in honey to dissolve. Add ice, shake, strain, and serve.
Float a bit of whiskey on top to layer it and bring out the flavor.
You can substitute a teaspoon of jam instead of honey.
Sweet heat with spicy ginger and whiskey.
